Farm Updates!

The farm is looking AMAZING! Several farmers have been harvesting already and are ready to start donating to the free pharmacy/food pantry. A few weekends ago, the German Village Community Farmers had the exciting opportunity to learn more about composting thanks to Luann Jackson (photos).

The tomato trellis is installed (kudos to Judd Martt, Jim Kaminskas, and Brian Santin) and looking cool and all of the paths are mulched.

Special thanks to Judd Martt for installing the new rain barrels – we are now almost 100% sustainable and Grun!

Remember that we have Community Farm time on Wednesdays at 7 pm, it is so much more fun when we are all there together!  Even if you do not have a designated plot at the Farm but would like to experience the relaxing benefits of maintaining the Farm, please feel free to stop by on any Wednesday night – we’d love to have you!
