Description: The German Village Society offers a selection of guided group tours focused on the historic preservation of architecture specific to German Village, the immigration process, and our sensational public and private gardens. All tours are scheduled in advance. Fees range from $4.00 (student scavenger hunt) to $12.00 (adult deluxe) per person. |

Society Signature Event Location: Throughout the Village Admission: Valuables Map / FREE! Description: Pick up your Valuables Map at the Meeting Haus and enjoy the day shopping at more than 100 yard sales throughout German Village. Village Valuables is the city's largest yard sale. Residents set up shop on sidewalks, in yards, on porches, and in garages; selling everything from antique housewares to crafts. Who knows what treasures you might find! While you are searching for the ultimate bargain, keep energized by visiting the many Village coffee shops, delicatessens, restaurants, and watering holes, not to mention our young Villager's lemonade stands!

Society Signature Event Location: Throughout the Village Admission: $125.00 Admission fee and reservation required Description: Treat yourself to this exclusive private tour of the homes and gardens featured on the 49th Annual Haus und Garten Tour. Following the tour, enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment at the cocktail bash, then dine at one of several private dinner parties hosted by German Village residents. |

Society Signature Event Location: Throughout historic German Village Admission: $15.00 Advance; $20.00 Day of Tour Description: The German Village Haus und Garten Tour is an event filled with traditions and surprises, much like the neighborhood it showcases. German Village opens its doors and garden gates for the 49th Annual Haus und Garten Tour, which highlights the exquisite gardens and historical renovations of the Village. Guests can explore the sites at their own pace, while enjoying gardening demonstrations, and observing members of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society paint their masterpieces for the annual watercolor competition. Plan to shop for unique home and garden accessories, and enjoy refreshments in the Marketplatz in Schiller Park. Stop by the Meeting Haus for your tour program on the day of the tour. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the German Village Society or at Central Ohio Kroger locations after June 1. Tickets will be held at the "Ticket Will Call" station at the Meeting Haus for pick up on tour day.

Oktoberfest features traditional German polkas, as well as other popular music, under Munich-style large tents. Enjoy a variety of authentic German food, beverages, and other festival favorites. Business Association Event Location: Throughout historic German Village Admission: Free Description: Experience the holiday charm of German Village. Stroll down the luminaria lighted streets of German Village and paths of Schiller Park. Bring the family to enjoy carriage rides, visit with Santa and his reindeers, and meet Pelznickle. Lights, music, and excitement reverberate throughout the Village streets and businesses. Visit the Village businesses for holiday treats and specials, and live entertainment. Stop at German Village businesses or the Meeting Haus to pick up postcards with information about participating businesses during November. This event is presented by the German Village Business Community in collaboration with the German Village Society. |
