Membership

Mission: To develop and implement a comprehensive GVS membership program which strives to increase the number of new GVS members, to retain existing GVS members, to increase the involvement of GVS members, and to leverage technology to support GVS member services

GOALS:

• Identify and welcome people new to GV
• Invite people to join the GVS and following up with prospective new members
• Coordinate and host periodic welcome events for those new to GV and new to GVS
• Coordinate periodic member appreciation events for all members and for those who provide additional financial support through upper levels of membership
• Follow up with new GVS members to link them with GVS activities and individuals of mutual interest
• Coordinate an annual membership campaign for renewing and new members, following up with non-responsive folks
• Work with the volunteer GVS Membership Coordinator for seamless operational integration with renewal and new member processes
• Enhance the GVS web site (including member only access) and GVS phone message system for increased efficiencies
