Community Farm
The German Village Community Farm was established in the Spring of 2009 as a sub-group of the Go Grün / Go Green Committee. It is a functional community garden run by volunteers from both the German Village Society and the Livingston United Methodist Church.
The Farmers have researched and practice organic farming techniques. All of the materials on the Farm have been donated by the Farmers and sponsoring companies listed on the Farm sign. The raised bed plots were built on site and have been explanded this year in anticipation of more interest in the Farm.
The Farm helps support the Food Pantry by donating a portion of all crops during the harvesting months.
