Annual Haus and Garten Tour
The Annual German Village Haus und Garten Tour is an event filled with traditions and surprises, much like the neighborhood it showcases.
German Village opens its doors and garden gates for the tour, which highlights the exquisite gardens and historical renovations of the Village. Guests can explore the sites at their own pace, while enjoying gardening demonstrations, and more
Stop by the Meeting Haus for your tour program on the day of the tour. Plan to shop for unique home and garden accessories, and enjoy the many opportunities to shop, dine, and stroll during your visit to Historic German Village. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the German Village Society Meeting Haus beginning June 1 each year. Tickets will be held at the “Ticket Will Call” station at the Meeting Haus for pick up on tour day.
**NOTE: The GVS Haus und Garten Tour is ALWAYS the LAST SUNDAY of JUNE**
Where: Historic German Village just one mile south of the Ohio Statehouse at the southern edge of downtown Columbus.
Why: To provide tour guests a glimpse of quality preservation and innovative design in the fourteen properties chosen as this year’s tour. We think of the event as a “tour of inspiration” for visitors from any community where civic pride and cohesiveness are objectives for the neighborhood. All proceeds from the Haus und Garten Tour support the historic preservation, civic, and educational programs of the German Village Society.
