On May 8th at 6:00 pm in the Fest Hall of the Meeting Haus, The German Village Society, and the German Village Commission join in celebrating notable preservation efforts over the past year in German Village.

This event is held each May in conjunction with Preservation Month, a nationwide celebration of Historic Preservation. The event is free and all are welcome, whether you live in the Village, are a super fan of the district, or both! The winners are selected by the 7 members of German Village Commission who meet monthly to review all applications for Certificates of Appropriateness. One award, The President’s Award, is selected by the German Village Society.
