58th Annual Oktoberfest at Germania
Discover a little bit of Germany in the heart of the Brewery District. Join us in the Germania Biergarten for three days of German music, dancing, food, and Gemütlichkeit at Columbus’ Oldest Oktoberfest. A preview event is scheduled for Friday evening with the official ‘Tapping of the Keg’ on Saturday. Also enjoy home-made bakery items made by members of the Society and check German-themed clothing and decorative items in the Boutique. Central Ohio German choruses will perform on Sunday afternoon along with the Worthington Community Band. Bands playing during the weekend are Ken & Mary Turbo Accordions on Friday evening; Dave Sabatka Saturday afternoon; the Hank Haller Band Saturday night; and, Frank Svet on Sunday evening.

Friday, September 16, 5pm to 11pm – Free admission
Saturday, September 17, 3:30pm to midnight – Admission $5, children under 12 free. “Tapping-of-the-keg” at 6pm.
Sunday, September 18, Noon to 8pm – Free admission

This year marks the 150th Anniversary of the Germania Singing and Sport Society. Every event at the Germania this year is graced with the thankfulness and happiness that our Germania Society has survived and is flurishing. We hope all who come to our Oktoberfest will feel the friendliness and spirit of this occassion!
