GVS Oktoberfest is Sensational

The Meeting Haus Platz will transform into a traditional German biergarten featuring Wolf’s Ridge Brewing Company and will be complete with authentic décor, live music, cultural games, and delicious cuisine. 

 

GVS Oktoberfest is a local neighborhood gathering to celebrate our Village’s cultural legacy in support of historic preservation! All attendees must be 21 years of age or older (no minors under 21).

 

This lively celebration of community, culture, and craft beer brings together neighbors, small businesses, and visitors for an unforgettable evening in the historic German Village! 

 

Raise a stein and cheer on the contestants at the German Village Society’s Oktoberfest! 

 

Run of Show: 

– Women’s Stein Hoisting Competition: 6:00 PM

– Men’s Stein Hoisting Competition: 7:00 PM

Meet your accordionists!

Gay Castellano has had a love for music since she was gifted her first accordion at age seven. After early retirement, she has immersed herself in her passion for accordion and travels across the country to collaborate with other enthusiasts, including polka bands and orchestral groups. Gay is based out of Marysville, Ohio.
Tim Swanson has been playing accordion for over 20 years. He owns and operates Capital Accordion Co. where he repairs, sells, and teaches the accordion in Columbus, OH.
