Parking & Transportation

Where do I park?

PreTour (Saturday):
Parking is available throughout German Village. Please obey all posted parking regulations and be respectful of residents and businesses.

Sunday Tour:
Street parking is available throughout German Village. Complimentary off-site parking is also available at Grange Insurance. Details and directions are included on the Tour Map.

Is there a shuttle?

Yes. Free all-day parking with shuttle service from the Grange Insurance lot (not the parking garage) just south of Kroger Brewery District (southwest corner of Sycamore and Bank St.) that will circulate throughout the tour route.

Saturday (PreTour): A complimentary shuttle will circulate the Tour route, allowing guests to easily visit the featured stops throughout the evening.

Sunday Tour: Complimentary shuttle service includes:

  • A continuous shuttle running between the Grange Insurance parking lot and the German Village Society Meeting Haus.
  • Separate shuttles circulating the Tour route throughout the day, helping guests travel between tour stops.

Are the shuttles accessible?

Yes. One of the ADA-accessible buses is equipped with a wheelchair lift. In addition, all shuttle buses are equipped with a “kneeling” feature, which lowers the front entrance of the bus closer to the curb to make boarding and exiting easier for passengers with mobility concerns.
