The Visitor’s Center is in the German Village Society Meeting Haus, 588 South Third Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. The visitor’s center is open weekdays 9 am to 4 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm, opened Sundays from 12-3 p.m. between April-November.

The Visitor Center is staffed with volunteers who are very familiar with the neighborhood as well as the city at large and can be a great service to you when visiting historic German Village. Stop in and pick up informative map of German Village and take a few minutes to view a short, introductory video about the neighborhood.

In addition, the Visitor Center has background information on the immigration years, the recent preservation years, architectural details to note when visiting, and the enormous impact brewing had on the community. Pamphlets and handbills about Village businesses are available as well as books, novelties, cards, and other souvenir items. Please to include a stop in the Visitor Center when you come to German Village. Restrooms are available on site.
